United arab emitrates,vietnam,bhutan,chinese taipei....if we get these teams in our group we will definitly qualify to third round asian cup....and tough draw- india,iran,oman,kyrgistan,malasia

Good News that India jump 26 spots to 147 ranking.
If it is due to our 2-0 & 0-0 result against Nepal, then days are not far off when we find ourselves at below 100 and then below 50.
Very difficult to understand, just like D/L in Cricket.

we jumped so high because we didn't played much matches recently... so whatever point we got could be averaged for this year...

Ranking system is simple average thing... if ranking points is what is important we can easily manipulate it into our favour by playing our level of opponents but ranked high...

 

So far the best team to have worked ranking system had been Switzerland... they organize friendlies in such a way that they are ranked as high as possible just at the the time of major tournament seeding so that they get best draws

 

Ranking shall be used only for this purpose and for first time I would say this could give us possibly 2 teams whom we can beat at home and away possibly..

hopefully we avoid north korea  in pot 4

Pot 4 has dangerous team North Korea. Pot 2 got Saudi Arabia, Jordan which should be avoided.

Dream Draw:-   China, Vietnam, India, Bhutan, Guam.

Nightmare:-  Japan, Saudi Arabia, India, North Korea, Yemen

I consider Australia worse than Japan. Japan will kill us more than the Aussies but the Aussies will literally injure our fragile guys with their physicallity.
