Two Full-Backs From Shillong Lajong To Report To The Camp In Gurgaon
India has largely been suffering from the absence of decent full-backs who have played for the country in the last few years, coupled with the horror show of Deepak Mandal in the left back slot at the 2011 Asian Cup, it seems new coach Armando Colaco has identified the position as one of the weakest.
N.Mohanraj's decision to back out of the camp due to an injury which starts in a week’s time or so, has also played a role in Colaco looking for his replacement. It is reliably learnt that two full-backs from Shillong Lajong shall join the senior national team squad.
With Lajong having won the second division I-League last month, Lalawmzuala and Subhash Singh were amongst those who played a vital role in the north eastern club’s promotion to the top division.
While Lalawmzuala hails from Mizoram and is aged 21, Subhash comes from Manipur and is three years elder than his team-mate.
According to those who watched the duo in action, they can play on either flanks and regularly overlap their fellow wingers when in attack.
This is only the second occasion when a player of Lajong has been summoned to the camp with the last occasion being when Seikhohao Tuboi being named for the AFC Challenge Cup 2010 camp under Sukhwinder Singh.
Things are happening almost the way i want. When the squad was announced i had wished that two strikers from 2nd div should have been included. Anyway they are including fullbacks.

If North Korea can qualify for the World Cup, then India can too with a lot of luck. They are not much higher on the FIFA rankings list and not much better.

If we qualify with luck and are grouped with Spain/Brazil/Portugal/Argentina in world cup, we can see scores only in double figures ,, after seeing those matches we need to spend sleepless nights,,
