DEN (Delhi Dynamos Owner Company) plans to dilute stake in FOOTBALL BIZ --
MUMBAI: DEN Networks, which has aggressive plans for cable TV digitisation and broadband, is looking to dilute its stake in the loss-making soccer business. “Investors have not liked us doing soccer. We are looking to reduce our stake in this line of business,” a senior DEN Networks executive said. While the loss from Delhi Dynamos FC, DEN’s Delhi franchise for the Indian Super League (ISL), stood at Rs 46.05 crore (Rs 460.5 million) on a revenue of Rs 8.08 crore (Rs 80.8 million) in FY15, it is expected to drop marginally to Rs 35–40 crore (Rs 350–400 million) in the current fiscal. DEN’s soccer business resides in its wholly owned subsidiary DEN Soccer Pvt Ltd.
All franchises should have lost money after season 1... I really don't see any of the teams making money at all for at least 5 years... they should have known this.
Earlier Habas was not satisfied with new signings, now he is furious with Bhaichung after signing of Nabi. I am one of the biggest admirer of Bhaichung but now onwards I will believe @gaffertape.
Well lets be honest, @gaffertape is obviously smart when it comes to Indian football and Antonio Habas is a reputable coach... if both say Baichung is rubbish as an administrator and/or coach then I believe them. He was a great player but not all great players are meant for the limelight after playing.
@Ashlesh Then that falls with the people IMG-Reliance hired to review the bids and the company themselves. They should have all known what they were getting into.
That is just fucking stupid! You have to wonder who make all these decisions! A lot of players I can understand still being in ISL but retained? Are they really considered the 6 best Indians on their teams!?

Pro Kabaddi League is most likely to break even earlier than both IPL and ISL considering it's debut year.
