Salt Lake Stadium turf looks rubbish. They were in a hurry to remove Artificial Turf. Now it looks worse then before. Wait one year, it will turn into a mudpool and again they will close down stadium to install artificial turf. The concrete stands where these plastic seats are not there look Black, Mould/Mud or whatever. How is the Drainage?
@munna219777 In addition to that - due to some pressure from politicians YBK had to allow a law college to host their inter department football tournament in YBK ! EB, MB, ATK were not allowed to even practice on the pitch. But some college students were allowed to play.
We can't expect anything good from a government run stadium. YBK should be leased to a private partner to modernize and run it for 15-20 years as well as share the revenue with government. It has the potential to gift revenues to the government rather than expect doles from the state as is the case now.
