His contract his over on 31st May and EB wont give him a match, not in I-League.

IMG-Reliance have already shown that they won't allow someone like Baichung play in the ISL. If anything, he will get more of an ambassador role.

Apparently Sandeep Nandi is a fit for ISL though at 40 he couldnt get a I-League club and hasnt played a year almost IMG-R and AIFF are just footballing dumb fucks, they will play Bhaichung if it gives them additional 10K attendance for that match.

Sandip Nandy was probably signed to a 2-year deal with Kerala Blasters after being a regular in the I-League a season ago.

Baichung has been out for a few seasons now... I doubt they will let him in if they have already rejected the likes of Uga Okpara etc.

Bhaichung is not a random African, he is politically backed by the West Bengal CM. If he really wants, he will get his 5 mins of cameo time and why would IMG-R bother? They would market it and make and launder money. Thats what they are in it for, not for improving football or something weird like that.

Exactly... just money. That is why they're investing in youth football right now and spending more crores than I-League teams ever did on the league.

I believe they're trying but sometimes there is to much influence from outsiders that detract them from the goal.
