National team coach Constantine revealed that the Kerala Blasters FC player may need to undergo a surgery to his shoulder due to an injury sustained during the Indian Super League (ISL).
"Jhingan is out of the game [against Oman]. He injured his shoulder in the ISL and might need a surgery. It's quite a big loss for us," said the Englishman.
From what i saw on goal.com augustine was awarded 5 "flop of match" assessments so i dont think we have a good back up defender now .I feel jhingan came with an minor injury to the camp and it got aggravated here

Gurjinder is shit. Augustine is only good option now. people here rate him very low. but I have seen him in close up. he is very good player. he has saved salgaocar many times with his last minute clean tackles.
