National team coach Constantine revealed that the Kerala Blasters FC player may need to undergo a surgery to his shoulder due to an injury sustained during the Indian Super League (ISL).
"Jhingan is out of the game [against Oman]. He injured his shoulder in the ISL and might need a surgery. It's quite a big loss for us," said the Englishman.
From what i saw on goal.com augustine was awarded 5 "flop of match" assessments so i dont think we have a good back up defender now .I feel jhingan came with an minor injury to the camp and it got aggravated here
Uh... I have no comment on this. Either he's an idiot, Kerala Blasters are idiots, Sporting Clube de Goa are idiots, or the national team are idiots (from March qualifiers)... someone is an idiot.
Gurjinder is shit. Augustine is only good option now. people here rate him very low. but I have seen him in close up. he is very good player. he has saved salgaocar many times with his last minute clean tackles.
Oman National Team coach Paul Le Guen stressed that it is vital for teams to play against higher ranked nations in order to take stock of their own standing and helps players gain vital experience. :-w
“I was the coach of PSG and Lyon before. I like the experience of big games. I will try my best. Obviously Oman cannot have the same expectations as PSG or Lyon but I want to do well. Football is a game I like. Playing friendlies against big teams is advantageous. We played Algeria and they are a top team. Such games help us to adapt to these big teams,” he opined. :-w
