Do Dong signed a new contract with EB, he will be with the club now till 31st May 2017. A longer contract is in offering based on his I-League performance.
Fateh Hyderabad is still building it's infra , so give it some time. They will have everything in place for 2nd Divison...they have a longer term vision. So will only aign good young player's and not established ones
Fateh SC owners are from background of Real Estate and Finance-India as well as USA. They are able to bring Telangana Football Association office bearers as well as AIFF people on stage, so they must be having solid political and financial clout. Good luck to them if they can bring a club from Hyderabad.
East Bengal has adopted a go-slow policy with regard to its marquee signing. As was reported earlier, they have initially decided to sign Iain Hume, but they would be looking for other options, keeping a tab on the foreign players in the ISL. An Argentine striker is also said to be in the reckoning. Wonder who that is-Nicolas Velez, the young Argentinian who has recently signed for NEUFC from Singapore? But does he qualify as a marquee?
Its a good move by EB..problem for kolkata clubs is to sustain the momentum without any meaningful league arrangement for the next 3 months (IMO its too big a gap).....they should really engage with IFA to have a longer CFL...both Goa/shillong clubs have a better suited local league timings for preparing for ileague...maybe the big 2 should join the Bangladesh PL as guest teams!
