Getting promoted to i-League was and will never be Incentivized. Compare that with any major domestic league structure in the top 70, Clubs from Div below will always want to get promoted even if there is a real relegation danger because they are exposed to better exposure and more importantly money benefits just by playing a season at the top.
Thats why you will always have clubs fighting to be termed as Yo-Yo clubs before they find solidity to be a established top tier club.
Coming back to Aizwal, they had no pressure on themselves on relegation and are if they were ok to be a Yo-Yo club then they wouldnt have fired a coach who was trying something different with players whose only exposure was maidan football till date.
Wow!! Last date for signing 15 March... So you can select a squad till round 13 (13 Mar) for a league of 18 rounds. Great!! Dont understand the logic here.
