Am aware of FIFA rules - on when there is obligation for a team to release its players and club is at no compulsion to send its players for Camp before the cut off time.
But Indian football is not at a stage wherein a club can dictate term - the way BFC did (and I spoke about camp only earlier). Why does Steven insistes on 2/3 weeks of prep camp then before a tournament? Better than , as per FIFA rule, players report before 4 days of the match (match day included) where a prep camp is not reqd - and we keep losing to Guam and continue with the free fall in FFA ranking!
When Constantine has had camps India teams performance has been poor. They didn't even beat Nepal. When they were denied long camps...like before Guam game...he won the match.
The players have admitted this.... his 3 a day training and long sessions cause both physical and mental fatigue in players
Robin and Sunil combined well...not due to attending his long camp. Those who reported early for the Camp like Cavin Lobo, Anas, Seitya, Francis all picked up groin and back injuries !
Aha! Christmas and New Year time now - can understand Gaffer must be in a celebratory mood.. a bit of hangover and hene such crappy analysis - unbecoming of him!
Gaffer is right man. You have to rest your muscle fibers to let them recover. Otherwise this things do happen. Nepal had a long camp before SAFF , also Bangladesh , they played a friendly too, now what happened to them ? Constantine's 3 session a day can convert a Christiano Ronaldo to a Lord ROBIN or better to say JEJE ( ROBIN is no more Lord ) . Remember it.

You missing the point.
BFC refused to release for Camp but agreed to release for the tournament
Romeo and mandar didn't report on time for tournament...and Dempo didn't communicate anything
There is no FIFA rule on releasing for camps. ..especially non FIFA tournaments like SAFF.
