Our state league did not play for 6 years and only has a handful of competitive teams. It is still full of enormous challenges just to conduct; even the calendar changes due to various road blocks. That would have been a mistake for the platform we are building.
As far as the name, that is an opinion and all are entitled. We have received enormous support for the name chosen locally.
On age fraud: we do our best and would never intentionally send anyone over aged. Our team photos from U18 I-League vs. certain other teams clearly shows that we send players of the correct age. Bengaluru FC does as well. And it can be painful because your teams can be disheartened by results when the competition is unfair.
As far as the suggestion for an economics course, I appreciate that. I did my Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Columbia University where I was an Academic All-Ivy football player and I hold an MBA from The Wharton School of Business.
I am a professional coach, and I rest my hat on the feedback I have been given by my peers about my work and my team, and my own personal standards. Fans are welcome to come to training sessions.
Unfortunately you are not a fly on the wall so you cannot see how much blood, sweat and tears our staff and players put into this club. There is no time for vanity. And when you sign the cheques with the means I have, there is a lot of pain.
I will be a little more specific about the comment regarding grooming talent. You don't groom talent over 8 games in a new competition. Talent is groomed over years. You need a philosophy and you have to implement it. To implement it, you need a framework, but you also need players and staff who have the chance to compete. That drives everyone. There was no reason to wait and not participate in I-League 2. The main reason any club waits is financing.
Again, off of 8 games, only looking at the final score can be misleading. The real story is only seen when the entire game is watched. Our top field player performance was by a 17 year old boy unknown in elite football in India. He could start on any team in I-League 2. Firs pro football experience.
Our top scorer, was an obscure 22 year old. Unknown to elite football before this year. Scored three, could have scored 5. Our goalkeeper was loading and unloading crates on a ship dock before I signed him. He has showed himself to be the top goalkeeper in our conference, playing in front of a very young and inexperienced defense.
We had our moments of bad luck as well. That is football. If I were to only look at the score, we would be taking the wrong decisions.
Also, addressing matters about local players. We were very interested in a number of local players; unfortunately they are all much older than the age of players we prefer and many of them are signed by institutional teams where they have a job. We still made inquiries to take players on loan however they were not willing to release their players on loan so easily. We did not have time for long negotiations. As it was our first season, the federation required us to put forth our roster before any of the other teams (and fairly so as we were a new entrant). We did not want to create discord amongst the local football community so we dropped the idea of many local players. As far as players of a similar age to our team, we are behind in Hyderabad and those players would not make the grade right now.
Great that "owners" would like to connect. some of them are great posts. I also like the fact that people connected to indian football are monitoring these posts.
I request the club stakeholders to contact the admins on requesting to create official thread to discuss rather than directly create an ID and post in the middle of an ongoing thread which is used by fans to discuss on a fan point of view.
We need to encourage club media folk to integrate with us so understanding and ambiguity can be cleared on both sides ie., the club and the fans.
I understand some of us do post absolute drivel and biased maybe even incorrect information.. but thats what a fans point of view will always be and thats what this forum should be all about.
I suggest IFN which has decent clout to request for a Q&A session with clubs who want to connect with IFN so its better.
We The Member of Robinianity will support Fateh...... don't care for Jairusim members like @deepakc they always keep there head down I respect of There leader Jairu who keeps his head down hence couldn't see actual things properly.. ...... Best of Luck for future
Thank you for coming to the games. We are always in gratitude for the support. I always believe anyone who comes to our games and consumes our product has a right to express themselves taking our name.
I like your comments. I will offer you some insight as to why just stating that we need better scouts is far simpler than the solution.
We have a deep database and are aware of many players across the country. We have done quite a bit of work on this. Just seeing a player one wants to sign is only the beginning. First of all, in the Indian context, there are few who do not push players in an unbiased manner because they are often incentivised by a financial carrot. One can easily get burned. Video is great for a look also, but not the same as seeing with the eyes. We coaches want to see with our own eyes and also get word from people we know and trust who have seen the player and know the player. So scouting itself take time and money. We had four weeks to put our I-League 2 squad together.
Let us say we have the target. What's next? The player is often under contract and his timeline for release does not match your timeline because all the state leagues run on different calendars. Furthermore, the clubs locally often will not release the player or loan the player before the contract terminates because they want a huge financial incentive. Thirdly, many players do not even have a copy of the contract they might have signed and do not know what is in it. They get intimidated.
Let us say we get through that stage. Now the the questions is do we believe we can improve this player and how many years do we need with the player? Often times players do not want longer term contracts on smaller monies. They want to play a season and then try and get a bigger contract. We often assess that we need multiple seasons to help the player improve and get real value for the investment. We don't want many short term deals. It does't work for our club culture.
Let us say this matches and we are through that stage. The next question is will the player fit into your club's culture and respect the philosophy? This is the biggest question of all and a mistake here is money and time down the drain. Our culture is very demanding here and the so-called veteran players who are currently available on lower wage demands, many of them will not like the demands we have here.
So it is not so simple to just sign the players you want. I had many targets whom we identified in state leagues and we went down long roads but in the end, the road blocks prevented their signings. So you make choices and get on with it.
Finally, do not underestimate the talent sitting in our squad. If you would be privy to the feedback I have received from other coaches and players, you will better understand that we have enormous talent such that other clubs want to sign our youth. It is young and needs time. That is why many of our players are on longer term deals. We know with time they will improve and that is our vision. We have a culture where the players are in a learning environment and it is incredibly demanding. If they only come for a few months and go, which is what many clubs do, the learning environment is not created, sustained and further expanded.
First of all welcome to IFN. It is really nice to have you in the forum.
I have stayed in Hyderabad for almost 3 years and have played in almost all grounds (Gymkhana, a place near masabtank, redhills, a ground near madhapur, Tarnaka ) and participated in many corporate soccer tournaments. I always felt that people of Hyderabad are passionate about football and they have talent. Once I go to Hyderabad I will try to come and meet you and would love to watch a practice season if allowed.

Fateh Hyderabad AFC is doing a great job in terms of putting back Hyderabad back on football map.
For fans like me from the city is like dream come true.

1. we need better scouts for our team there are many state leagues where we can find many good players with young age
2,presently india football players are in receission we can get good players with cheaper salary
3.finally i agree with you our goal keeper is standard out player in the entire team
