Plus ISL is giving only cosmetic makovers for the venues. The real upgradations are being done by the actual owners everywhere. Which means that infra upgrades can be done by the system itself. So many stadiums are being improved by the owners from scratch, apart from the ones earmarked for the WC: Andheri, Sarovar, Kalyani, Siliguri.

Infra will continue to grow, albeit in a slow speed.

I Didn't even like the idea of merging the 2 league's and the proposed merger is doesn't even look like merger either . Is not is look like ISL take over the top tier ,say promoted and i-league relegated?

Chiranjit Ojha's article. He hates ISL. What more do you expect?

I liked this part from that article

Everyone is fighting for their own interests. I-League clubs are fighting for their survival, ISL franchises are fighting to preserve their monopoly, IMG-Reliance are fighting to keep their revenue model, AFC and FIFA will probably fight to enforce their global rules, and AIFF is fighting to stay relevant.

Which begs this question: who is fighting for Indian football?

indian football can only get developed if football become successful business venture in india , This is basic , and real. ISL clubs,ISL org is right now losing money and gaining popularity .Who know what happen after merge with i-league. If ISL clubs make profit, football will develop in india else it will don't atleast we can't available to see it.
These promotion/relegation ,AFC rules like 2 foreigners,1 asian rule will do bad to league than good . This is just my opinion .
