@deepak dedha Money matters man , What ever we achieved till now at international stage is based on almost pure passion. You can't go beyond this level with just passion . You need to make peoples feel safe to take Football as career .You need investment for that .
If ISL follow AFC regulations ,then ISL will also fail too ,AFC itself is a big failure putting those 4 foreigners including one asian rule.AFC said in a interview there is no country looking like winning world cup anytime nearby in asia.I really don't understand why 4 foreigners in AFC and not in europe(atleast in big leagues). Jeje is best indian striker/player right now , but he is benched in ISL .Indians needs to improve their standards , but look at jerry ,3 appearance with one starts , and he looking like top tier player.
Again, it is not an AFC regulation. Actually look it up. Also Jeje was benched for one game and Jerry does not look like a top-tier player yet but is surely promising.
Ah, gotchu. Even then I don't think it will be bad. We are doing well in the AFC Cup right now and looking at some Vietnamese sides and such, I think we at least have the potential to look decent in the ACL groups... potential being a key word
1) ISL wants to play matches everyday. 2) ISL wants to finish the league before Januray transfer window. 3) ISL dont want to follow AFC Regulations. It is not only about 4 Foreigners, it is also about Audit, ownership clarity. 4) Completely bypass AFC Cup. 5) No intention of even attending the workshops for AFC Regulations. They have no intention. 6) They deliberately want this unrecognised status. Freedom will be gone if they merge or follow AFC Guidelines.
Merger will stop these things. This shows that merger may not happen.
Yeah that's what , indians are different otherwise i-league would've been a success ,if you put all AFC regulations then you will see isl become i-league finally(i mean unsuccessful league) .
Are you telling me when Chennaiyin had 4 foreigners on the pitch for 10 matches last match was a I-League quality side? Obviously the Indians are but those 4 foreigners could walk into an I-League side.

Other regulations should not be hard to pass.

Plan apparently is to start this new league structure for the 2017-18 season but could also be pushed back to 2018-19.
