There is NO MERGER

2 new teams will be added to make the ISL bigger..

Once they have enough teams to get AFC  approval as a proper league...they will usurp the existing top League

Merger should happen this year and atleast I am quite sure I-league won't turn up next season. PP is just being careful with his words. AFC will never interfere...even if there will be 9 teams.

IMG-R are clearly trying to kill off the I-League in a hostile takeover. 

Teams like BFC will comply and join ISL bandwagon...the ones who won't will be left behind in the I-league.

AFC don't care... they will follow AiFF lead in ratifying whichever is pushed as the primary league.... as long as AFC club licensing is complied with
