this reminds me regular scenarios in corporate world while forming new desks or regulations(this is actual scenario happened in company where I worked previously).. old teams/members are working for some time in company , after some time organization gets new management who want things to be worked out in different manner(so as to get more profits or move forward with new philosophy) its not that old methods are bad or old people aren't working well .. its just that they are needed to be taken into confidence without hurting their ego(some employees are rather political rather) instead company starts taking new guys try to show older ones how they are bad.. new ones obviously learns everything from old ones... but yet company starts behaving as though old ones are useless
eventually they form a desk without much communication and proper planning after some days there company starts pressurizing both set of employees but neither are able to cope up with that and unable to work as a unit... after some time old ones slowly backs out and company realizes their importance.. even new ones realize how their company is jerk and understand value of their seniors(some of them are still loyal to company somehow) end result is project is wasted or on the verge of getting scrapped management people who never cared much and never worked at ground level were in that planning team so they screw up but dont give a shit and leave (after pocketing handsome salaries ) employees suffer, end users suffer..
IDK for sure but if AIFF is actually shitting with both leagues
Goan clubs will save their money... soend on youth... Improve GPL. And may participate in 2nd Tier with local only player's.
If they are clever they cab make money from ISL by becoming feeder clubs. however to do this...they need to really improve Goan football which is in a slump at the moment in terms of youth development.
Punjab, West Bengal , Manipur and Mizoram are producing far more player's of top calibre than Goa.
You couldn't imagine an India team in the past without Goan player's....
Now you would struggle to put one in the 30man squad.
Keeping the big two out is the only plausible solution of this impasse, albeit an impractical one. But hard decisions are to be taken if you have deadlines and peer pressure. Plus IMG-R cannot make money out of them. And cannot shadow-own the two. It's too complicated. So it is not surprising that IMG-R would let them go.
