When a former French NT, Ligue 1 and EPL star like Mendy can stay in an appartment (like other foreigners) without any calms, why the hell does ISL outfits use hotels all the time? I dont believe that 40 crore figure, must be some black money white making scheme numbers

I think they stay in hotels because its a short season..Maybe in a longer season they would have players apartment. That actually cost less for a whole season

4 Cr... is ok for the Corporate Teams. They do have non-footballing expenditure to meet for their Clients.

Even IPL teams stay in Hotels only. That is a part of Franchise Model. Everything Temporary!!! Big Bills and nothing permanent created on ground. Main aim in this model is Tax Deductions and rotation of huge amount of  money from one pocket to other pocket - not any infrastructure creation.
