@gaffertape what a typo man :P The central revenue improves from zilch to 3 crores in season 2 but is still a long way off the promised figure of 20 crores before the inauguration of the tournament. (playing the devil's advocate) The figures, as provided by @gaffertape, still raises more questions than answers. The revenue is more or less equivalent to the expenditure in hotel, as if begging some one to ask the reason behind it. Moreover, the central sponsorship after IMG-RIL's expense to improve the infrastructure is a meager 24 crores will be a major cause of concern for all eight teams, especially those teams that are facing a cash crunch.
Now people have started comparing Bello Razaq with Mendy ....a player who hardly had much pre season training with EB and started playing in the middle of the season. Obviously he will struggle.
Mendy is being played in a CAM role thanks to our enlightened coach, I am sure Bello would struggle in that role too. He should use the current break to get the combo of Mendy and Bello in central defense going. Arnab has been shit for last 2 seasons now and needs to be dropped.
ISL rules state that teams must house players in 5star Hotel and each player must have his own room , ( as MCFC stay at Palladium ,one can see how that accounts for so much )
not including Freddie Ljunberg's printout bills from year 1 : lol
So Rohan @munna21977 was bang on...its in black and white....dont waste money on any infra development.....spend obscenely and show inflated bills and claim tax benefits on your real business...
The financial skeleton of IPL is out of the bag with numerous cases going on forcing a change of BCCI management and SC intervention. And it only would get worse for BCCI and state associations from here on, follow the case. Where are we wrong in that? Also what infrastructure has IPL created? All stadias are state owned, none of them have any academies or even training facilities, no penetration in North East even after being a cricket crazy nation since 1983. So if ISL or other running shows follow same model they will have the same result. No infra, no youth development, same financial fudgery, lots of glamour and eye balls.
Debabrata Sarkar, executive committee member of the frontline Kolkata club East Bengal, said, “Well (the) AIFF has informed us about the planning of the merger of I-League and ISL. With the eight ISL franchise teams, they will take East Bengal, Mohun Bagan and Bengaluru FC and will add another franchise team to start a 12-team new league."

He was literally not bang on at all! And deepakc just comments his stuff and then once challenged, does nothing, just continues spewing more shit.
