FC Goa apparently have made former Vasco SC coach Gavin Araujo as their team manager. He allegedly has a history of fixing and once allegedly fixed a match against Southern Samity in the 2010-11 Second Division I-League allowing Sporting Clube de Goa to qualify. Southern Samity were bottom in the group and Vasco were leading the table by five points at one point of time and just 2-3 matches were left. They had even beaten Sporting Clube de Goa in the earlier match.
I will also coming out with an expose very soon of cut business between a current ISL Team Manager and a former I-League Coach. Watch this space.
Gavin has been part of FC Goa for 2 years now. This is coming from the same guy who was so adamant about the ISL and its failure he tried to pass off as someone who knew about the A-League and MLS when he was wrong in almost everything he said. He then comes out with little bits of "insider info" which no one cares about.
@ArsenalFan700 ... Tell me which part of the article was wrong? Except for the fact that FFA didn't control Newcastle Jets (that too happened a few weeks back before the article was published) rest everything was correct I think. Please quote specific instances from the article which was wrong. I am not anti-ISL. I found that article interesting so I shared it. If I find a pro ISL article interesting I would share that too.
Secondly, yes Gavin Araujo has been a part of FC Goa for the past two years but that was at grassroots level I think (not 100%). Now he has been made a part of the senior management team. So he has more power to wield his influence.
