With so many Reliance employees in AIFF, there is no scope for football in India. Reliance is all about making money. It's a private company for heavens sake. They think they can make ISL the new IPL. Sadly it wont work as football isnt about profits.
Actually these two are separate issues. First and of prime importance is shadow takeover of AIFF by Reliance staffers, and the second is of the post-holders elected (or selected), the existence of a certain Sundar Raman, who was ousted from BCCI for corruption and wrongdoing.
The first part is being executed in such a manner that Reliance is not coming in the forefront, certain individuals are posing as front. Of course this is not a hostile takeover, on the other hand, this is being done in collusion with the top brass of AIFF, probably in exchange of some money. Even FIFA cannot do anything about it prima facie. Our Football Federation is silently being privatized.
The Sundar Raman part is of lesser importance, as all at the top are crooks (you don't get to be at the top unless you are a crook, isn't it?), except that Raman is a certified crook. He has certification from the Supreme Court Judges. That should bar him from occupying any public offices in normal circumstances.
Who is not corrupt in the Cricket Board! So much so,that they are trying every possible means to defy the COA, appointed by Hon'ble SC even - such is their audacity and appetite for money/power!

Bengali media article about the reliance take over of AIFF. They have been compared to the East India Company.
So why single out Sundar! ?
