It is important that members speak their minds and add whatever information they get. After all its an open forum. Also, unlike mainstream media which is tightly controlled by Reliance we can share the bitter truths here.
Journalists need to be credible and stuff I get but come on, what is the benefit of posting this stuff here? We have been getting the same kind of insider news for a while now but what has actually been done? We don't know how credible it is and sometimes its just so "bad" that you feel it really shouldn't be voiced here.
@dev_pfc They should, voicing on here does nothing. And I bet there are journalists who would kill for this info.
There are certain things that cannot be proven with back up evidences. There are also things that shouldn't be divulged. Beyond these, we can always discuss the behind the scenes happenings, the news behind the news. Because this is a forum, not a newspaper where you have to substantiate your claims. And we have a thread that deals with rumours and gossips.
If we do not discuss these, this forum resembles AIFF press releases.
@ArsenalFan700..
Thanks for your demeaning attitude Mr. Know it all..
I got this to say in my defence
Unfortunately the bitter truth is that football and all sports is politicised n India. Is Praful Patel a former footballer? Anurag Thakur is a BJP MP. Check all other sports federations and see how many politicians head them. So please stop saying that politics shouldn't be posted in this blog coz the bitter truth is that political lobbies control sport in India. So why should politics be out of this forum, especially when it is linked to the sport we are writing about? In fact it was tweeted by renowned NDTV journalist, Sreenivasan Jain, that President of Wrestling Federation of India Brijbhushan Singh was also instrumental in forming the Goa government and persuading Vijay Sardessai who is a member of the Federation
Secondly, I stand by my statements on Alison Moreno being an approver for Elano, unfortunately I still cannot figure out how to upload documents on this forum else I would have uploaded the entire police case file of the Elano saga. In fact on that fateful night, Sundar Raman caught hold of one lawyer named Rajiv Gomez to file the bail application and this was done at the behest of Vijay Sardessai.
The only thing I cannot confirm is about the money being exchanged but the when one member posts that Jaydev Mody was at the swearing in of Manohar Parrikar and three days later he extends the casino licenses it does make total sense doesn't it? But I have been graceful enough to state that i cannot confirm it.
Thirdly, the reason why the draft/player guidelines are taking so long to come out is because of the merger apprehensions. Remember last season the ISL player guidelines were out at this time of the year. This year there doesn't seem to be a clue about it, which reinforces the belief that the merger is running into rough weather.
Lastly, the two employees of FC Goa in questions are close supporters of that political party. Please confirm with your sources from Goa, maybe sitting in the US is hard for you to find that out.
And to end, Pradhyum Reddy has been approaching players on behalf of an ISL team.
Please let me know if you need any more clarifications. Cheers!!!
