Lodha Committee Report needs to go in Dustbin. This is where I agree with @ArsenalFan700 . You cannot discriminate against anybody on the basis of age or whether he is politician or businessman. Everybody has a chance to head any sports association. If you remove such people, they will install a servant there and rule the association with remote control. Even Vladimir Putin is Honorary President of International Judo Federation. AIFF is the lesser problem, people who control AIFF and install their people there are bigger problem. No Lodha committee will control those people.
@Aidra Agree, trust me I agree. I wonder these questions every time I am editing wikipedia articles for old players and I come across an article about how the AIFF has this grand plan to qualify for the World Cup... I have seen these articles in the lead up to the 2006 World Cup, 2010 World Cup, 2014 etc. etc. Hell, Pailan Arrows, a plan completely by the AIFF, was supposed to get us to the 2018 FIFA World Cup and here we are, knocked out with only 1 win in qualification! We went from such a promising future after the Asian Cup in 2011 but thanks to a combination of the AIFF, the clubs, and even IMG-Reliance to a massive extent, we are where we are!
And of course now we have this brand new roadmap, which is not the first, not even the Laksha or whatever was first, it was the billionth more likely but lets see. The only reason I am actually wanting to wait and see here is just cause I really doubt anyone associated with Indian football, whether it is AIFF, IMG-Reliance etc. actually see it fit to have an ISL running how it is now and overall Indian football where it is.
Small question/complaint, why is it that ISL teams never show the sponsor or kit manufacture in these types of posts? I understand not showing it for clubs outside the ISL but for clubs in it you should show it, even if you plan to not be sponsored by them. Just does not look good at all.
Exactly, and it is only the club. Whenever the ISL twitter/facebook page posts a picture they keep the logo/sponsors. Hell, when Kerala Blasters announced Belfort, there post did not include the Haitian federation logo but the ISL twitter page does include it
