Why is everyone making short-term tournaments in sports??? A long term league will do them much more good ! But again, everyone wants to make money, not improve in that field
So yesterday saw the first big blowout from the Uttarakhand Super League as Pithoragarh Panthers destroyed Udhamsingh Nagar Warriors 6-0. Udhamsingh now sit bottom of Group B with 0 points and -10 in the goal difference.
Currently it is Almora Burans and Corbett Tigers who lead Group B with 4 points each and Nainthal FC Lions and Pithoragarh Panthers following behind on 3. In Group A, Haridwar Ganges lead the table with 7 points after 3 games with Dehradun Capital Rangers on 5 points. Uttarkashi Glaciers and Pauri Platoons finish the top 4.
Today will see just one match in the league as Tehri Lions take on Uttarkashi Glaciers in Dehradun.
Probably the biggest problem with this league so far is the lack of information regarding the squads... who are the players? Who are scoring the goals? Indians? Foreigners? Coaches?
