Both Angad Singh Bajwa and Mairaj Ahmad finished 1st and 2nd in the Men's Skeet event at the Asian Shooting Championships thereby securing their Places for Tokyo Olympics.

This takes our tally to 60 and also means that our Shooter's have managed to book 15 berths/quota for Tokyo Olympics which is our best ever performance quite easily. The previous best being 12 quota/berths in 2016 Olympics and 11 quota place in 2012 Olympics.

Let's hope they can convert this into medals as well.

Are they taking Top 4(Quarter Finals) like the last tournament or Top 2(Semi-Finals) ???
  • BadBad 5146 Points
If top 4,then ideally India should have been in the other group in men because India will definitely qualify from its group but any opponent it faces in the Quarter-finals will be tough with Belgium, Netherlands,Germany and Great Britain most likely to qualify.

In Women's side(India will do well to qualify in Top 4 from it's group)

Yes Top 4 from each Group will progress to Quarter Finals.  Same like what we had in 2016 Olympics.
We should try and avoid meeting Belgium in QF.
