@ArsenalFan700 Please check my comments more carefully. I always said that Assam is different from the rest of the states in terms of football passion. And yes,I still believe that late kickoff also had a role in decreasing the attendance..
Not being able to make it to playoffs even once+ Worst season ever+ Assam, the state with least popularity for football in NE + Late kickoff + No favorite foreigner retained = Poor attendance
I think lot of Shillong / Aizawl/ Neroca supporters used to come last season due to separate league at different seasons
but since both leagues go simultaneously very few cares to travel that much ( plus may be late kick off/ nobody cares about John Abraham/ no local players)
so they stay back and enjoy I-league... that’s my theory
i remenber watching a video on tv in which shown that ne united supporters buy tickets by standing in long queue since early morning, now they don’t. So may be they have better and convenient options near their home
