Am sorry. 23-25 Kms from proper Pune to balewadi is almost the same as the number of fans that I travelled in Chennai from the IT highway to the Nehru stadium.
Its the willingness to travel that matters not the distance. Anyway digressing let's hope FcP city can bring a good crowd, the team they have is decent.
It is not 25 km from Pune city or human habitation. Their cricket stadium is far away from city yet attracts crowd. Balewadi is off-beat but not very far. It depends which area of the city you are commuting from. A stadium in Hadapsar will be very far for fans coming from Pimpri. A stadium in Nigdi will be far for fans from Kalyani Nagar. Even in Europe, often stadiums are in a derelict industrial area with not any regular public transportation. .
you know even I used to think distance was issue back in 2014 , but since then I have seen fans all over India be its shillong, kolkata, kerala, goa etc etc people travel from other districs there even when I went to Goa for finals I had to travel for good 8km even though i was in south goa
so yes interest matters but still you gotta work on it i, ts a slow process (after starting club you should not cry Pune is non footballing city one obviously know what he is jumping into)
This year we don't want foreigners in I-League Second Division. The idea is that the clubs spend wisely on Indian players and developing their youth systems," informed an AIFF official.
who the fuck is this official ??? He is better of sucking my ****. This shitty 3 month worthless tournament is worse than Subroto cup.
I don't agree you can't develop strikers in a 3 month league with 2 pm kickoffs. in past even with foreigners players like Ajay Singh has dominated the 2nd division.

3 years of poor results ( only 4 wins each year )
Poor marketing by the team, and a lack of connect with the fans.
Now.....onto no Foreigners in the 2nd Division is the best news for Indian football....
It's means that AIFF are now listening to IT for advise on how to develop young strikers & defenders.
