This will only encourage age cheating.

Only the ISL B sides should be restricted to U23 rules, not the other clubs. Also if it is group cum knock-out, how many games will the B sides play? No point in fielding a reserve side if you only get 6 games max or something.

Waste of resources. They have to pay crores for bunch of players who will just play for 2-3 months.

Aren't the marketing partners of AIFF bringing in some sponsorship so that a proper 12 team 6 month league can be organized? Even local community tournaments boast of good sponsors these days.
