I would have been very happy if they would have fought for I-league instead of this shit.  If the BFC thinks they will get full house for ISL, it is in the dreams.

Really i'm not happy as fan of BFC or Indian football.

They got nearly full house in afc cup semifinal last year against Johor darul

after that match they generally have decent crowd

compare  ticket prices of bfc, they might have generated very good money compared to any other I-league/isl club of India

What happened to this year semifinal against FC istiklol ?

Gate sales is very negligible compare to amount BFC spends.  On Avg i'm predicting 13k for the season if it is not spiked 3-5k per games.

I guess on that day I attended Ghana vs Niger match at d y Patil stadium

ghana fans were very passionate, they were singing local songs for complete first half (I attended only first half), but the Ghana player who scored was stupid.. he did not go in their direction for celebration but gone in other direction instead

water and and toilet facilities were good at d y Patil, people were still coming in half time as well ...

INDIAN FOOTBALL'S BIGGEST JOKE: I-LEAGUE IS THE TOP DIVISION

AIFF President, Praful Patel has said time and again that I-League is the top division, at least for this year. But it is debatable whether he himself believes that, because the treatment that is meted out to it may make you think otherwise.

When AIFF announced that I-League and Indian Super League will run in parallel this season and winner of both the leagues will get entry into AFC Competition, the fans of the game were hopeful that I-League will finally due, but all their hopes were shattered.

First it was the draft system that allowed only ISL Clubs to sign top players of the country meaning I-League clubs were left with whatever players that they could get their hands on.

While Kolkata Clubs, East Bengal and Mohun Bagan were quick to opt in the best among rest players, I-League Champions, Aizawl FC had to assemble a completely new squad for the season.

FSDL, the Marketing Partner (read Overlords) of AIFF released the schedule of ISL 2-months prior to its kick off with Star Sports beginning its marketing campaign to create all the hype and hoopla around the League.

You ca't help when the Fed itself wants to kill the league, instead of nurturing it.
