Salgaocar do not have anything in their name to tie themselves down to Duler or Margao. So the comparison does not apply. but naming your club as 'Chennai City' and finding no field to play there and settling for some other city is funny. Why aim for Chennai in the first place when you don't have any leverage there? Why not aim for Coimbatore from the beginning?
I would be mildly surprised if I see a London club naming themselves Manchester City or vice versa. Or if I find any Sydney FC in, say, Perth. That club can well call themselves Perth FC.
