@Bad, Also want to know your feedback on our hockey teams disappointed performance in this Games. Before Pakistan and New Zealand were easy sure shot opponents for us. Also any day we used to dominate against England. But this tournament proved it otherwise. Are we not fielding our best IX ?? But I can see many seniors in this squad. Really want to hear from you on this pathetic show of men's Hockey team.
@7negi we hv won 3 golds , 2 silvers and a bronze so far and 2 more bronze medals are at offer tomorrow out of which in mixed doubles the bronze is India's as both pairs are from india and in men's singles sharat kamal will be up against samuel walker of India
Also,I suggest all the members(Who are interested) to name the Athletes who they think can be Medal Contenders for 2020 Olympics. This,in my Opinion will help us in understanding our actual Medal Contenders/Events for 2020 Olympics.
1) Gaurav Solanki (True fighter, bit look like Thomas Muller, all he needs to work on his strength) 2) Naman Tanwar( All he needs to work on his defense) Wrestling:
1) Vignesh Phogat ( world class wrestler) 2) Bajrang ( again world class wrestler)
Weightlifting:
1) Mirabai Chanu( world class)
Badminton:
except Srikant & P V Sindhu, the mans doubles partner Satwiksairaj and chirag shetty ( considering both are young and fast on their reflexes)
Table Tennis:
1) Manika Batra ( But as @Bad said her true potential will be disclosed in asian games)
Shooting:
1) Manu Bhakar 2) Anish Bhanwala
But you can't predict about shooting as its depends on that particular day. Actually in shooting there is no favorite as such.
Athletics:
1) Neeraj Chopra ( Excellent talent absolutely world class) 2) Tejaswin Shankar ( But he needs to improve his game by a big margin)
@Bad these are my choices who are the probable medal contenders for 2020 olympics.
Comments
I think, she has been the Indian Athlete of the Games for me.
Really amazing.Beating World No.4 twice is quite an achievement.
Next Step for her,can she repeat this kind of form In Asian Games as well.
Currently,it's Manika and Sathiyan
and Sharath and Mouna.
We need to interchange it in my opinion.
What say guys???
