The reason I-League’s broadcast was taken down from TV was due to its increasing popularity. FSDL doesmt want any competition for its baby.

Contrary to what legacy fans from Planet Namek like @goalkeepar blabber around, people of all ages have more access to the combine of hotstar/Jio TV than a sports channel like Star Sports 3. Yup, it would’ve been different if it was shown on channels like Asianet as in ISL but not with Star Sports 3.

@goalkeepar @indianFootballFan LMAO only 17.4 million viewers for first 46 matches while ISL had 127.7 million viewers for first 59 matches. No wonder they don't want to brodcast stupid I-league which no one watches

With only 1 channel broadcasting with 2pm amd 5 pm kick offs and add to it zero promotion, I’ll say those are impressive numbers.

Yeah but you said that there was a competition between ISL and IL and that's why they reduced it. reality is that viewership is not good enough for TV. Anyway numbers are OK for I-league and pretty good for ISL
