    Don't think that's the reason. They could've easily used their Guam passports like the rest of the team .

    There isn't a Guam passport. All are US nationals by law. Whether they are based in US or Guam is immaterial, they have to use American passport.

    Guam is not a country. Same like Wales Scotland England are all having British passports or Curacao have Dutch Passports. FIFA membership of a nation is possible without them being a separate nation. Bhutan team came to Delhi US embassy for Visa to go to Guam . US based or Guam based players, they all have USA passports.

    Possibly Guam association do not have enough funds to attract their US based players- it does cost a fortune for them to assemble US based players and then transport them far distances. This is just a wild guess.

    @ashindia ; In Sri Lanka, Football was a popular sport amongst Moors and Burgher communities. (Muslims & Christians). There has been a large scale migration of these communities (during and after civil war) to places like Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK and the support structure like schools, clubs have faded away.
    Majority Sinhalese adapted Cricket due to their champion status in 1990s or Athletics.
