Day after AFC awarded the Macau - Sri Lanka match 3-0 to Sri Lanka , AFC has made a U-turn and has now referred the matter to FIFA. Only after FIFA approval, the match will be awarded to Sri Lanka.
Macau is a weird Football association. Their Home Game was hosted in Zhuhai, China as their Macau stadium was under renovation. And they did not travel Away Game for security reasons.

From SAFF Region, Bhutan and Pakistan are out of the Race for World Cup and AFC Asian Cup also unless AFC rejigs their Asian Cup qualification due to late withdrawals, suspension etc.

Even without joining we can play against them and other decent opponents if we are serious about friendlies. In addition to this BRICS Cup and BIMSTEC cup should be organized.
