Nah Munna, gotta disagree with you this time. Goa went toe to toe against some high class opponents, 2 of which are in the ACL QF's now. Only difference was end of season which is more like an actual mid season and Goa players were fit
Munna is biased Donachie and Gonzalez were the reason why Fc Goa didnt concede too many goals. Any Indian club will struggle against these central asian teams (who have quick players) if they have an all Indian lineup in defense.
It's funny seeing people here compare ATKMB with FC Goa's performance in the ACL which is an insult to the latter actually.

Yes, Goa had match fitness but that alone isn't the reason. Habas is simply not tactically good enough for this level and this result shows how we should appreciate what Ferrando did with FC Goa against much better opposition and their great performance in the ACL
If they have any shame left arrange game a week till the start of season and play your bench players and find replacements for some dead weights in team.
FSDL should rename this from ISL its not a league at all. They should call it Indian Summer Camp or Indian Super Camp, where players are camping for 3-4 months and rest of the whole year is a vacation.
For short term improvement of Indian football they should ban all broadcast of AFC Matches till we play World Cup. FSDL bought AFC rights for 5 years, they should use that power now.
I hardly play football. Even I could able to see lot of tactical issues or even team selection & formation. Not sure what Habas and support staff is doing.
First of all, they should have included Tiri instead of Kauko. Second one is All Indian defense is stupid choice, Carl McHugh is very good in defense. Coach could have started him in C.B. Finally for starting 3-5-2, we need very good wing backs. Here we are talking about Manvir & Sahil. Also Lenny is dead slow and he should stop playing football.
Coach could have played with 4-5-1 or 5-4-1 by sending long balls to Roy Krishna.
As I said earlier, ATK MB is badly missing Sandesh Jhingan & Tiri. Even Deepak Tangri looked good in AFC group stage.
Most painful thing is, we got humiliated by a 19 year old Uzbek player. He is not even Uzbekistan Men's NT player.
