Chennaiyin FC in advanced talks with Curtis Fleming as new head coach
The 52-year-old coached RoundGlass Punjab in the I-League last season.
Indian Super League (ISL) outfit Chennaiyin FC are in advanced talks with Curtis Fleming in a bid to appoint him as their new head coach, Khel Now can confirm. If all goes to plan, the Irishman will lead the Marina Machans from the sidelines in the forthcoming ISL 2021-22 season.
“Chennaiyin FC are in advanced talks with Curtis Fleming and he may become the club’s new head coach. He was a part of the club’s coach shortlist. They also offered him a contract recently, but he is yet to sign on the dotted line,” a source close to the developments informed Khel Now. It can hence be understood that the 52-year-old is a leading candidate for the position left vacant by the departure of Csaba Laszlo in April.
With the release of Edu Garcia, it is confirmed that ATK MB is going to hold both Carl McHugh & David Williams as other 3 are already confirmed (Joni Kauko , Roy Krishna & Tiri).
As thebeautifulgame mentioned, mostly it would be a foreign midfielder as they have enough options in defense & wings with the addition of Ashutosh Mehta , Deepak Tangri & Liston Colaco
Hyd FC is in pole position to sign Juanan. If they sign Edu Garcia, Hyd FC will have multiple options in attack. Last season, they struggled to score goals.
Only Chinese is staying I think. Ogbeche, Edu, Juanan. 2 more remaining. I think they'll sign a DM and only 2 of Ogbeche, Edu & Joel may play at a time.
yah. you are right. Only Chianese extended his contract.
Most of us knows Hyd FC signed Bartholomew Ogbeche. But just yesterday, they left a clue on their twitter handle (Who is the new striker ?? Sudani from Nigeria)
I like their twitter handle & official page updates. They are the one along with BFC who provide up-to-date info in their websites.

Btw, if anyone is interested on football-themed movies, I suggest them to watch Sudani from Nigeria. It's pretty decent.
EDIT: It's official. He signed a 5-year contract, most probably a first time for a foreigner in Indian football.
ATKMB and MCFC: Imma pretend that we didn't see that.
