As per transfermarkt, Bengaluru FC already signed Rudy Gestede. Currently he is without a club. Last season he played for Melbourne Victory (A-League), scored 5 & assisted 2 in 18 games.
He played for Blackburn in Championship for 2 seasons & ruthless in final 3rd for them.
A lot depends on acclimatization and other factors in India which always go in favor of Brazilian or African footballers. Let ISL be a year long league, we will observe the difference between Europeans and Brazilians / Africans. We have seen Alan Gao failed and Chidi scored like anything. IMO Costa is a very good signing compared to Kauko.
Sometimes, I guess it depends on the individual player also, how ready they are to go the extra mile to acclimatize and settle in the new country. Traditionally, players from Africa and Latin America have thrived in Indian conditions.
For me both are good players. If we compare the leagues currently they are playing, Obviously , Brazilian Serie A is better than Danish top tier & Serie B is much much better than Danish 2nd tier.
Alan Gow was a Scottish football player who played for EB in 2011-2012 along with Tolgay, he failed to thrive in Indian conditions and was released after playing some ten odd matches. He was brought by then EB coach TJ Morgan to the club.
The only reason I said not an impressive profile is because of the number of games he played. I think that for a 30 year old, the number seems less. Brazilian leagues are almost like half an year for state league and another half national league. We used to sign players from Serie B-D and state leagues. Last year, KBFC almost signed a regular defender from Serie A, but he backed out because of corona.

Despite not winning I League, East Bengal were good during Trevor Morgan tenure.
