The Copa America 2021 is set
to take place from June 13 and conclude on July 10, 2021.
Brazil will host the tournament in five stadiums--Maracana Stadium, Rio de Janiero, Estadio Nilson Santos Stadium, Rio de Janiero, Estadio Olimpico Stadium in Goiania, Arena Pantanal Stadium in Cuiaba and The Estadio Nacional Mane Garrincha Stadium in Brasilia
The competition was initially set to be held
across nine venues in nine cities in Colombia and Argentina.
However, following anti-government protests, Colombia was stripped of Copa America hosting rights, while Argentina's hosting rights were suspended after a surge in Covid-19 cases in the country.
The 2021 tournament will go ahead with 10 CONMEBOL representatives - Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. The two AFC representatives - Australia and Qatar - pulled out due to scheduling conflict after the AFC decided to postpone the joint qualifiers' dates for the 2022 FIFA World Cup and 2023 AFC Asian Cup.
Brazil are the defending champions, having defeated Peru in the final in 2019.
Uruguay are the most successful team in the history of the competition with 15 titles followed by Argentina with 14 and Brazil with 9.

Messi gets a lot of flak for achieving so much with Barca and nothing of note with the Argentine NT. But in this match, it was he who created chance after chance for his team mates apart from scoring the goal whereas it was the likes of Lautaro Martinez and Nicolas Gonzalez who kept on squandering opportunities and could not repeat their club performances with the NT.

He made a wise choice leaving Arsenal. But I feel he waited so long. GK department is weakest link for Argentina. Now they got one and Emiliano Martinez will be very handful , mainly in penalty shoot-out.
Colombia played very well (both in defense & attack). Luis Diaz scored an excellent goal. He scored superb goal against Brazil as well.
In final, if it goes to shoot-out, Argentina will win as both Alisson & Ederson (Brazilian GK) are not good in penalty shoot-out.
