The I-League has always been competitive, smaller teams have clinched the title upsetting heavyweights, titles have been decided on the last day but can't remember a season as topsy-turvy as this. No team has been consistent throughout the season, relegation threatened Sudeva Delhi and Kenkre FC have been defeating or drawing with teams in the top half in recent times and title-contenders SDFC and RGPFC are faltering at every step.
This is not competitiveness, it is a poor advertisement of Indian football!
I want punjab to win the i league and ger promoted because
1) The state is unrepresented in ISL. In fact the whole North India after Delhi Dynamos fiasco. Also Punjab has a strong sporting culture(cricket, hockey, kabbadi etc) and many players in across National team and other clubs.
2) Telengana region already have a top club in Hyderabad FC, and I don't see full stadium for their matches. So 2 clubs from the same area with less fans makes no sense. Maybe if Sreenidi plays from other places in Andhra/Telengana cities I would have supported to some extent.
ISL won't allow two clubs from one city (except for Kolkata, which is a complex case). If Deccan FC wins IL, they will have to relocate to some other city/ state.
