U-17 world cup bound Goa Academy U-14 Boys play draw and a 5-0 win in friendlies
All India Football Federation U-14 Regional Academy based in Goa played out a goalless draw versus SESA U-16 Academy Boys and mauled Assonora United ,Bicholim in two back to back friendlies in two days.
While Team A failed to eke out a result against their SESA counterparts despite a barrage of attacks, their B compatriots made up for it by netting five times past Assonora United.
A first-half brace from Komal Thatal and goals from Dingku Sharma, Boris Singh, and substitute Hrishi Dhath propelled the FIFA U-17 World Cup bound colts to another handsome victory.
AIFF appointed Joy Bhattacharya as the Project Director for U-17 world cup, Javier Ceppi as the Tournament Director. There is no question about Javier Ceppi's selection as he has already managed U-17 WC before. But Joy does't have any significant experience of organisiging football as he is the team director of KKR.
We also have the Nike International Friendlies with the US U17 team taking on teams like Brazil, the Netherlands, and Turkey (all U17s) in a friendly tournament. Perhaps India could take part in that (we are a Nike team after all).

If d U15 league does stayand be a regular , it will be all due to d FIF U17 WC.
