They play in the U 17 (B-Jun). Bayernliga and B-JUNIOREN BUNDESLIGA SÜD/SÜDWEST. But the team we played against seems to be mainly players who played in the u15 league they take part in which is C-JUNIOREN-REGIONALLIGA SÜD. Idea here is not to hype things but just be aware who we playing against as @Rudra rightly pointed out it is good to look at things other than what is reported by aiffmedia.
Looking through all their age group leagues, we can clearly see how much of competitive games their kids get to play on a regular basis. No wonder they get better and we stagnant.
Hopefully we will have some age group national and regional leagues (apart from goa and a few others who are doing it right now) so that more kids get to play and get a chance to showcase their talents. They are talking about u15 league this year. Hopefully it can be a proper league format in the future.
I spoke about crowd funded age group leagues a couple of times but didn't see any response in here. So it most probably is an immature idea as I am not aware of the ground realities. The reason I brought crowded funded leagues is because funds where mainly cited as the reason for not having such leagues. I was thinking having national and regional level u10 and u12 leagues in the future where in the players who play are registered and all their details maintained and regularly published online will most probably limit age fraud cases. All well, this could all be my wishful thinking.
Greuther Fuerth were in the Bundesliga last season. Their youth team, like most 1st and 2nd division German teams would have very well run youth teams.
The U-15 team which played in their U-15 league 2014-2015 season is possibly the current U-16 team. They were 5th in the table; their U-16 team were 11th in the table (total 12 teams) in their U-16 league 2014-2015 season.
Hmm wonder why no one was talking about the below tournament ; probably because it will bring us back to reality instead of the hype about tennis scores against unknown teams
So the team played in this Swiss cup and lost badly but AIFF is only showing the friendly results against the poor German opposition!.. Though overall plenty of games for the team

Again, idea is not to hype or bring them down but just to ensure we are looking across all available information not just aiff media reports
