That means that EB and MB are paying money to use a big stadium which does not sound good during games. If they want to continue playing at the Salt Lake then they need to make more fans, adding Mohammedan would ruin those chances and also take Indian Football away from United Sikkim who long term will be better than Mohammedan. This is the club ran by Baichung, You know Baichung will use his fame to gain sponsors for the club. The reason that is not happening now is because they are in the 2nd Division which has no positives for a sponsor. I dont see United Sikkim getting relegated if they come up. With his image in Indian football Baichung will get good sponsors, even if for a single season. Plus he has a lot of good will among Indian footballers, so he can get Indian players to play for his club as well.
Mohammedan Sporting coach says the only person who can deny them a spot in the I-league is the referee. He alleged that being a local team, USFC are being hugely favoured. They were awarded 3 penalties against Aizawl and even ONGC got a controversial penalty to draw the match.

In all previous occasions, MDSC have beaten United Sikkim

There may be some truth in this.. But lets just hope that its a fair game..Ideally having USFC play in the I-league will bring in a more Pan India coverage, needless to say popularity in Sikkim will only rise..Baiching still has huge media and fan popularity and will add that xtra zing factor to the I-league..
