16 clubs, hmmmm. <div><br></div><div>3 years later (when I-League hits 42 clubs)... I-League folds.</div><div><br></div><div>"I dont know how it happened. We did everything they do in the Premier League. We had promotion/relegation, we allowed a but load of teams, we allowed more teams in one city, we saw the EB and MB got 20,000 people into a 120,000 seater, its all just confusing" stated Mr. Praful Patel</div>
According to a Bengali daily, Baichung is reaching out to big sponsors. If PLS had seen the light of the day, tshe Euro group (Kolkata franchisee) would have sponsored USFC. But that did not happen. Baichung has credited the Team management, coach and the players saying they remained as a family even when their sponsors EMTA left them mid-way and they had financial crisis

<br><div><br></div><div>Well now I am expecting some good things to happen. Its obvious that Redeny Singh, Johnny Monyengar, Sushil Singh were only in it for one season only because of Baichung. Then USFC did not make it and those players thought "fuck it, I am not going through another year of this one month tournament crap" and EMTA saw no point of sponsoring a 2nd Division club. Hoping things get better for USFC now that they are in the 1st Division.</div>
i was thinking they should sign michael from aizawl, jackie and seityasen from rwfc
<br><div><br></div><div>That is what I suggested to Mumbai FC Fan Club. I seriously agree that I-League clubs should look now at the top players in the league and take them. Cheap talent.</div><div><br></div><div>BEST PLAYERS:</div><div><br></div><div>Michael (Aizawl)</div><div>Saityasen Singh (RWFC)</div><div>Jackichand Singh (RWFC)</div><div>Daniel Bedemi (USFC) [Nigeria]</div><div>Quiton Jacobs (USFC) [Namibia]</div><div><br></div><div>Obviously 2 are on USFC already.</div><div><br></div><div>Also Stanley Cyprain and Alfred Jaryan (both Mohammedan) should be looked at. They are both Nigerians.</div>
AIFF might even offer 1-2 franchisee...there are companies showing interest
<br><div><br></div><div>That is some great news for indian football i am just waiting for the conformation of this news and i hope those two are from delhi and bangalore, who deserve a club in their cities.Bangalore for its football loving public who even supported a mediocre team like HAL and delhi because it is our capital and we want a north representation as well</div>

<br><div>If i am not wrong jackichand and saityasen are already in radar of some kolkatta team....may be it better for micheal to spend another year in aizawl and if the team yet not make it to top div then should look for multiple options</div>
<font size="2">In terms of expansion if this is true then great. We have two new franchises coming in and I hope its part of a closed system here with no pro/rel but I hope that the AIFF dont rush the franchises. By that I mean set the club up fast and have them play in 2012-13. Again try keeping the number of teams at 10-12 for 2012-13 and then 2 years from now we can allow those two expansion-franchise teams. You cant just make a franchise team out of no where. They take time to make and run. You need to make sure the city knows about the team, make sure you have a stadium in a good location, make sure the stadium is in good quality, get players, logo, jerseys, sponsors etc.</font><div style="font-size: 10pt; "><br></div><div><font size="2">As for Mohammedan... I rather not say anything because I dont want to offend any of there fans </font><font size="1" style="background-color: rgb(102, 102, 102);">of a shit club </font></div>
<font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2">http://isikkim.com/2012-04-how-bhaichung’s-united-sikkim-fc-qualified-for-the-i-league-18-3/</font><div><font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2"><br></font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2">Now you all see from the pictures that USFC is no joke, they will get fans to the stadium next season. Looks like such a great atmosphere unlike what we would have gotten with Mohammedan who have a fan base but 20,000 people in a 120,000 capacity does not sound good at all.</font></div>
