I-League 2nd Division Updates for February 5th 2012:
Group A:
1) Kalighat
2) Royal Wahingdoh
Group B:
1) Mahammedan
2) Langsning
Group C:
1) United Sikkim
2) Southern Samity
So far it looks to be the same crew from last season with the exception of Kalighat who I am surprised about but they have had it easy so far. I still have hope in Royal to make it. Also sense the Final Round will take place in a home/away format I think that if United Sikkim and Royal Wahingdoh make it then we will see them both win.
Surprised that Southern Samity, who had a shit season in Kolkata league are still doing well. Shows how much the other leagues are lagging behind. 3 out of 6 are from Kolkata league. But i seriously expected Goa teams also.
Bhowanipore Club 3-3 Ar-Hima FC;
Eagles FC 0-4 Aizawl FC;
Sesa Football Academy 6-2 Samaleshwari FC;
Quartz SC 2-6 Royal Wahingdoh SC;
Vasco SC 3-0 KGF Academy;
Golden Threads FC 1-2 Mohammedan Sporting Club
Bhowanipore Club 3-3 Ar-Hima FC;
Eagles FC 0-4 Aizawl FC;
Sesa Football Academy 6-2 Samaleshwari FC;
Quartz SC 2-6 Royal Wahingdoh SC;
Vasco SC 3-0 KGF Academy;
Golden Threads FC 1-2 Mohammedan Sporting Club
the two teams who impressed me are
ar hima fc who are consistently scoring goals and winning with some good margin and
another team is samaleshwari the only team representing state of orissa for first time and making a good account of themselves with a win and draw so far...
with likes from NE making a good performance i hope we get two non bengal,non goan non maharashtra team getting promoted to make this league more pan indian and hopefully a north indian club in next season
@arsenalfan How many people watch dempo playing in fatorda? Aren't they champions?!
and by the way mohammedan has its own set of fans, who always come to the ground. Same goes with southern samity. I'm not too sure about kalighat MS's fans.

United Sikkim FC and Royal Wahingdoh FC are beasts at Sikkim and Shillong and the support will certainly bring them up.
How many people will see the Kalighat and Mohammedan
