Just goes to show how good players will struggle in India with poor players around them.<div><br></div><div>I watched the game vs. Prayag, he missed a good chance by delaying  and the chance before where he lobbed the keeper , was a chance that any player could miss early on in a game.</div><div>After that he was starved of any meaningful service, and besides , when you have a long flight to Portugal for National duty , and cant see him busting his arse for Shillong Lajong in 40C heat when they are 2 nil down.</div><div><br></div><div>Had he been on the Prayag team with the possession they had , him & Ranty or him & Kayne woudl've had 4-5 goals in that game.</div><div><br></div><div>Playing alongside Sushil Singh must be an all time low even for a Blackburn reject </div>

@shankar<;div><br></div><div>The business model will be put under stress this upcoming season...</div><div><br></div><div>They happen to be in a football mad area with a lack of alternative options , hence they get crowds to the matches</div><div><br></div><div>Next season they will split fans with Rangdajied.....remember these people are not Lajong fans but football fans.... they probably took this for granted and now will face tough competition from the locality based teams.</div><div><br></div><div>had Royal Wahingdoh qualified, they claimed they would have got many more fans as proved in Shillong Premier League and had richer sponsors</div><div><br></div><div>fyi Rangdajied ,Langsning & Wahingdoh are locality based teams in Shillong , whilst Lajong are not</div><div><br></div><div>Also , Lajong still owe large amounts in unpaid salaries to players ( just like Mumbai FC ), and are at risk of losing their key sponsor</div><div><br></div><div>don't forget Shillong Lajong were also relegated from the Shillong Premier League this season , after the disaster of Desmond Bulpin experiment .</div><div>They also finished worse off than last season in I-League</div>
