East Bengal defeated CESC 3-0 in a friendly match. Ranti, Dong and Prohlad scored a goal each. Dong played for the whole 90 minutes and combined well with Ranti. More reassuringly, according to Biswajit Bhattacharya, the defence, particularly the young brigade, were said to be shaping up well.
