@Carbon_14, a professionally run club would be an independent profit centre, not a CSR initiative of a corporate (which MahU, JCT, Dempo, Salgaocar, -- all were/ are). A sure shot sign is the name: Pro club wouldn't have the name of the promoter corporate strung to it (BFC). Which in turn helps to trade part/ full ownership of the club.
Operationally, the pro club would be having a clear-cut administrative structure. Removal/ departure of coaches or key players wouldn't unsettle the club (again, example is BFC). Also, they are to have long term plans for everything, from finances to player development to infrastructure development, as well as the positioning of the club vis-a-vis the sport.
Financially, the club should have their main sponsor different than their promoter (BFC fail here, but so do most of the corporate clubs).
More drama at East Bengal! Paul Ngue reportedly unsure because some officials are not too pleased about him...To fill up the Asian quota, the club is said to be in talks with Lebanese Akram Moghrabi (played for Churchill Brothers in 2012), and three Australian players--Glen Trifiro, Joey Gibbs and Brazilian-born Henrique Andrade Silva...Morgan's favourite is said to be Trifiro but Moghrabi is also a strong contender
