@DEFENCE123: Of course, I understand that...it is also true that the results of some matches (though not all) are favouring EB...it is possible/probable that AIFF is contriving to make EB champions through unscrupulous means, but possibility or probability is not proof...until and unless solid evidence is provided, we cannot accept that the league is rigged
Also, you have not answered Samyajit's question ...EB's win would benefit AIFF, but would it benefit clubs like CCFC, RKFC, CB or Minerva Punjab...would the owners of those teams let AIFF get away so easily?
Till date in Indian sports, none of the rigged matches have been proved and it shall never be, b'cos it is India. We do not believe in having a transparent system unlike sporting countries who are ruthless on this kinda nonsense and have absolutely zero tolerance on this. This is the reason, Australian Cricket Board has the balls to ban the captain and the VC for ball tampering, but in India people can get away by doing any crap, b'cos the administration/people running the show are dishonest(exceptions are there, but rare)
The purpose of rigging is different under different circumstances/context.
IPL is fixed/rigged , spot fixings has happened, Azahurddin was banned before being exonerated by the court... and hence everything is farce in Indian sports. While the fact remains that we know for sure and are convinced that they are indeed.
Therefore lets not try to be politically correct and fake ignorance seeking proof/evidence like a lawyer does. Lets apply ourselves instead of turning a blind eye to these wrongdoings. IFN is certainly not for such craps.
