@coolgagan He is talking about AFC Cup, not AFC Champions League. We have two slots for AFC Cup. Emerging Nations are like Bangladesh, Pakistan etc.

@munna219777; But, I read somewhere that nations ranked 1-24 will be given direct group stage spots for ACL 2015 and 2016 edition and 2014 rankings for the same will be used, I obviously know that we have 2 AFC Cup spots and 1 ACL playoff round 1 spot. BUt, with club licensing in play this season, haven't we still crossed 600 points. crossing 600 points will easily give us atleast 1 group stage spot and 1 playoff round 1 spot??

At least a 2nd round play off.it will be of two help. (1) The match will be an eye opener for us, will show how much we are lagging. (2). Only way to bypass 1st round in current state.
