No one is fussing over a draw against Vietnam! Of course they are a quality side. But what's hurting ppl is the quality of play by Indian team! Our boys are unable to play simple passing game, let alone a quick, attacking kind which the media has been raving about! They are unable to control ball, horrible first touch, zero chemistry between them, no decent move, a one dimensional approach of attacking from wings, no composure ..where to stop! In the last 5-6 months these aspects should have been addressed! Vietnam did nothing special. They just played a simple passing game, keeping possession and this controlling the game. India's goal came from a fluke long ranger - the ball swerved due to wind or something the the opposite goalkeeper miscalculated. Apart from that we created ZETO decent chances. 70% of game took place in our half! A team claiming to have beaten u17 team of Athletico Madrid is supposed to play better!
