Just watched Malayalam survival thriller movie "Helen" on Amazon prime . Would highly recommend it . Man what an year has it been for the Malayalam movie industry , easily the best year in the last 10-15 years . Absolutely delighted .
"Parasite" is the first non-English film and first South Korean film to win best picture at the Academy Awards. Only 11 non-English language films have ever been nominated in the category.
Good to see Parasite win. This year, we had some very good Oscar worthy movies. 1917, Once Upon a time in Hollywood, Parasite, Jojo Rabbit all were Oscar worthy.
I felt the same bro. But apparently the friends who I watched it with(Americans). They saw that as a walk through the life of A-listers at that time. They connected with all references which i did not even know. It was good in their perspective.
I personally loved other tarantino movies which will atleast blow up some heads this was nothing for my expectation

South Korean film "Parasite" is a fantastic film. Great to see it winning Oscar defeating the likes of Joker and Once upon a Time in Hollywood.
