Barfi was selected instead of Paan Singh Tomar in 2012

The Good Road (Gujarati) was selected instead of The Lunchbox in 2013

Paheli was a  horrible entry in 2005.

Jeans was selected in 1998 while Satya missed out.

Lot of politics and lobbying is involved !!!

Oscar people ignored American "Straight Outta Compton" in 2016 which was a fantastic film on gangsta rap. Gully Boy is a very poor film in comparison.
