I agree 100%. A few years ago, Arata was one of the best players in India, the best midfielder actually but now he has gotten worse. There are better options than him and like you said, he will just block the younger players like Sanju Pradhan, George Alwyn and the Pailan players.
Perhaps in 2 years time during the 2014 Asian Games when he is 32 years old we can send Arata, Chhetri and Subrata Pal as overage players (I think its u23 + 3 overage). It would help those players and Arata as a coach for youth players which I think he wants to do when he retires.
Okay, but did anyone bother to ask him specifically what he thought of a 2-month league. I mean he himself should be pissed about that. He got the youth in Ireland to play 8 months a year!!!
The planning of Rob Baan should be confidential because its obvious the AIFF, IMG and IPFCA wont accept it straight away. There will be modifications and until then I dont see it being released.
